Cleanroom technician
Job description

As part of the development of our cutting-edge technology, DIAMFAB is looking for a motivated cleanroom support technician to support the fabrication of our diamond semiconductor devices in a cleanroom environment.

To demonstrate the maturity of our technology, we design electronic devices such as diodes, capacitors, and transistors. Their fabrication involves a series of advanced processing steps, including lithography, metal deposition and etching.

Your mission? Take an active role in executing these key steps while monitoring process stability using metrology tools (microscopy, profilometry, etc.). You will be responsible for assessing the reliability of your measurements to track process deviations.

This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in most stages of the fabrication chain of innovative electronic components, while developing a broad range of high-value technical skills.

Your responsabilities

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of fabrication batches
  • Completion of cleanroom processing steps: lithography, diamond etching, metal deposition and dielectric deposition
  • Characterization of the steps performed and monitoring of process deviations using metrology tools such as microscopy, optical and mechanical profilometry
  • Evaluating the reliability of measurements (uncertainty calculation, measurement dispersion, etc.)
  • Tracking the progress and status of fabrication batches (wafers, processes)
  • Developing processes to ensure the reproducibility/optimization of manufacturing steps.
Your profile
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in physical measurement or materials chemistry, with initial experience working in a cleanroom,
  • You have knowledge of metrology and clean room technology,
  • You are rigorous, organized, autonomous, and have good analytical skills,
  • You are able to quickly and effectively integrate into a young and dynamic team,
