DIAMFAB is a deep-tech start-up based in Grenoble. As a spin-off from the Institut Néel-CNRS, its technology is based on 30 years of R&D into the growth of high-quality synthetic diamonds for demanding electronic applications.
Since its creation in 2019, DIAMFAB’s ambition is to bring this know-how to industrial scale to help solve major societal problems. Energy efficiency, electric mobility, green hydrogen production, reducing the carbon footprint and recycling nuclear waste are all areas in which our technology can make significant improvements.
DIAMFAB has been housed at the Institut Néel-CNRS since 2019.
DIAMFAB’s strategy is based on collaboration.
Our partners, future customers and/or suppliers, provide unique know-how, an essential contribution to the development of cutting-edge applications.
A technological approach combining diamond growth and applications via the development of electronic components has enabled us to acquire unique expertise and control over the quality and properties of epitaxial diamond layers.
